Roofline & UPVC Cleaning

White UPVC turns grey and then green. Cleaning the roofline is the single cheapest way to make a building look maintained — and it protects the plastic from the algae that etches into it.

What we clean

Roofline and UPVC surfaces

  • Fascia boards and soffits
  • Gutter exteriors and downpipes
  • UPVC cladding and shiplap panels
  • Window frames, cills and door surrounds
  • Bargeboards, dormer cheeks and porch canopies

Cleaned, not blasted

High-pressure washing forces water behind fascia boards and can chalk the surface of aged UPVC. We use soft brushes, pure water and a purpose-made UPVC cleaner where the staining needs it, so the plastic comes back to a clean finish without damage to joints, seals or paintwork.

Ideal alongside a gutter clear

Because we’re already working at roofline height, this is the natural time to have gutters cleared and checked. Doing both in one visit means one set-up, one visit charge and a roofline that is clean and functioning rather than just clean.

Commercial premises and landlords

For managing agents, landlords and commercial sites we can put roofline cleaning on an annual cycle and report anything we spot — cracked brackets, slipped joints, loose soffit trim — while we are up there.

Common questions

Roofline UPVC Cleaning: your questions answered

Will cleaning make my UPVC white again?

In most cases yes. Algae, traffic film and general weathering clean off well. Very old UPVC that has oxidised may retain a slight chalky tone, which we'll tell you about honestly at survey.

Do you pressure wash the fascias?

No. High pressure can force water behind boards and damage aged plastic. We clean with soft brushes, pure water and a dedicated UPVC cleaner where needed.

Can you clean the gutters at the same time?

Yes — combining roofline cleaning with gutter clearance is the most cost-effective way to book both, as it only needs one set-up.

Do you clean commercial cladding?

Yes. We clean UPVC and composite cladding on industrial units, retail premises, schools and care homes.
