Work at height
High Reach Cleaning up to 80ft
Glazing that ladders can't safely reach — atriums, warehouse elevations, apartment blocks and church glass. We clean to roughly 80ft from the ground with water-fed poles, and use IPAF-certified access equipment where the building demands it.

Reaching the glass without scaffolding
Most high-level cleaning is done from ground level using a telescopic water-fed pole running pure, filtered water. Nothing is leant against the building, no operative works off a ladder, and there is no scaffolding cost or disruption to your car park or footfall. It is faster to mobilise and considerably cheaper than a traditional access solution.
Where high reach cleaning works well
- Office and business park elevations above two storeys
- Warehouse, factory and distribution unit glazing and cladding
- Apartment blocks and student accommodation
- Schools, colleges and public buildings
- Churches, listed buildings and leaded glass
- Atriums, glazed walkways and curtain walling
When we bring in access equipment
Some elevations can’t be reached from the ground — overhanging glazing, internal atrium roofs, buildings set behind fixed obstructions, or anything above pole height. For those we use a cherry picker or powered access platform, operated only by IPAF-certified operatives. We survey the site first, confirm ground bearing and set-up points, and provide method statements and risk assessments before the visit.
Safe, insured and documented
Work at height is the part of our trade that carries the most risk, so it gets the most process. We are fully insured, we work to written method statements, and we plan around your operating hours so cleaning happens when it causes you the least disruption.

High Reach Cleaning: your questions answered
How high can you clean without a cherry picker?
Our water-fed pole system reaches approximately 80ft — around six to seven storeys — from ground level. Above that, or where the elevation can't be reached from the ground, we use IPAF-certified powered access.
Do you need scaffolding?
Almost never. Water-fed poles and powered access remove the need for scaffolding on the vast majority of buildings, which saves both cost and set-up time.
Are your operatives certified for powered access?
Yes. Anyone operating a cherry picker or access platform on our behalf holds current IPAF certification, and we carry full public liability insurance.
Can you work outside business hours?
Yes. Where access, footfall or vehicle movements make daytime work impractical we schedule early morning, evening or weekend visits.
Which areas do you cover for high reach work?
All of Rutland — strongest around Uppingham and Oakham, plus Ashwell, Empingham, Glaston, Hambleton, Edith Weston and Harringworth — as well as Grantham.
